Established in 1997 in Hanoi, VMT started its business as a material steel trading company. Having been appointed to be the exclusive representative of many big steel corporations of Japan, Russia, VMT has become a major material steel distributor in Vietnam since late 1990's.

1999 marked a big change in development of VMT when the company was designated as the sole representative of MITTEL-MACSTEEL, a world leading steel group. Since then, VMT has been one of the significant material steel distributors for the top steel plants in Vietnam.

Not limited to the industrial domain, VMT has continued to expand its business to retail services including high-class cosmetics and fashion. VMT has become the sole distributor for famous cosmetics and fashion brands such as Menard (Japan), Elizabeth Arden (US), Thal'ion (France) and NAFNAF Paris (France) etc. Owning a system of 400 staffs and 30 big retail shops located in most of the biggest trade centers and shopping malls in Vietnam, VMT has transformed into one of the leading retail services providers in Vietnam.

Inheriting valuable experiences in high-class cosmetics business, VMT has expanded its business operations to spa, resort and hotel services. In 2011, VMT has put into commercial operation 7 high-class beauty salons in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city and open Amadora Wellness Spa, the biggest beauty care and treatment spa in Hanoi.
VMT commenced its real estate business since 2009 with projects concerning offices for lease, superior hotels and resorts.

With business motto of "Prestige", Appreciation" and "For a successful co-operation", VMT has become a reliable partner, always gathering efforts to build the sustainable and constantly developable business partnership. This business motto also creates a firm foundation for continuous development of VMT in Vietnam.

MILESTONES

• 1997 – Establishment
• 1999 – Designated as the sole representative of the world's biggest steel group MITTEL-MACSTEEL
• 2004 – Became the sole distributor for Menard (Japan) in Vietnam
• 2007 – Opened 6th Facial Salon and Spa and 1st VMT's Spa in Ho Chi Minh city, marking the expansion of its distribution network in Vietnam's biggest market.
• 2008 – Designated as the sole distributor for Elizabeth Arden (US) in Vietnam
• 2009 – Opened the first NAFNAF shop in Vietnam. This is the biggest Flagship Store of NAFNAF in Southeast Asia region; Open VMT office building having an area of 5,000m2.
• 2010 – Started building the first Amadora Wellness & Spa in Hanoi, initiating the development of AMADORA high-class Therapy Spa chain in Vietnam
